Yemen coffee is the most traditional coffee in the world, coffee culture as a beverage started in Yemen, Yemeni people exported this revolution to the world over 500 years ago through the port of Almaka (Almocha/Mocha/Moka).
Yemen coffee or so called "True Arabica Mocha" from the central mountains of Yemen is still grown as it was over five hundred years ago on terraces clinging to the sides of semiarid mountains below ancient stone villages that rise like geometrical stretching of the mountains themselves.
Haraz area and its surroundings achieve one of the most complex coffee characteristics.
Mocha Hunters team in Yemen and Mohammed Ali visited this region (Haraz) in 2012, and have been working closely with farmers and producers in Haraz and have developed a great friendship with them.
